Imhotep, the First Grand Architect

He raised the Step Pyramid at Saqqara, and he was physician, scribe, and priest at once. The Craft's Grand Architect has a name and a biography.

Imhotep served under Netjerikhet (Djoser) and designed the Step Pyramid at Saqqara around 2650 BCE — the first monumental structure in dressed stone.

He was also a physician and a scribe. The Order takes this as instruction: the one who builds must also heal and record, or the building will not last a generation.
