Terms & the Code of the Craft

Agreement

By using craftofamenra.com, submitting a petition, registering for the House of Shu, or enrolling as a Founding Initiate, you agree to these terms. They are entered with The Craft of Amen Ra ([LEGAL ENTITY]).

Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older. You must affirm the Divine Source — Amen, the Hidden One — or state honestly that you are seeking. You must commit to Ma'at and complete the studies of each degree you are given.

The Code of the Craft

1. 01Live by Ma'at: truth, justice, harmony, balance, order, reciprocity, propriety.
2. 02Keep silence. Signs, grips, passwords, and oaths are never published, posted, or discussed outside the Temple.
3. 03Study before you speak. Represent the teaching from the sources, not from rumor.
4. 04Never claim a degree you have not been given, or an office you do not hold.
5. 05Never represent the Order as Masonic, chartered, or recognized by any Grand Lodge or Prince Hall body.
6. 06Address one another as Brothers and Sisters of the Craft, and treat them so.
7. 07Bring no unlawful act, harassment, or fraud into the Order's name or its gatherings.
8. 08Build: one practical work in the world and one in the self.

Enrollment, degrees, and advancement

The Outer Court is free. Founding Initiate enrollment is $99, one time, at the founding rate. Enrollment covers instruction and administration; it does not purchase a degree, an office, or a title. Advancement beyond the first degree is by invitation of the Order, is earned through study and conduct, and cannot be bought.

The rites are conferred in person and are not published. The Order may decline any petition, and may suspend or remove any member who breaks the Code of the Craft.

Refunds

Founding Initiate enrollment may be refunded within 14 days of purchase if no curriculum content has been accessed. After curriculum access, enrollment is non-refundable. Free programs, including the House of Shu, involve no payment and no refund. Write to learn@craftofamenra.com to request a refund.

Study materials

Curriculum, lessons, and Order publications are licensed to you for personal study. Do not copy, resell, or republish them. Public-domain sources, such as the Papyrus of Ani in the E. A. Wallis Budge translation, remain in the public domain.

Conduct online

Study circles and convocations are held in good order. Recording, screen capture, or redistribution of a session is not permitted without the Grand Master's consent.

No professional advice

The Order teaches history, ethics, and the sciences of the Nile Valley Mystery System. Nothing published here is medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice.

Independence

The Craft of Amen Ra is an independent initiatic order and religious-educational body in the Kemetic Mystery tradition. It is not affiliated with, chartered by, or claiming recognition from any Masonic Grand Lodge or Prince Hall body. Rooted in the scholarship of Dr. Yosef Ben-Jochannan (1918–2015).
