Heru (Horus), son of the widow Auset (Isis), is the archetype of the initiate: born into loss and charged with restoring what was broken.
The Ausarian narrative gives the Craft its central figure. Ausar (Osiris) is struck down; Auset (Isis) preserves what remains; Heru (Horus) contends for what was taken and restores the seat.
The initiate stands in Heru's place. The work is not revenge but restoration, and the Eye that was injured is the same Eye that is made whole.
