Ajarn Shaman Shu carries the name of Shu — in Kemet (ancient Egypt), the Neter of breath and light-space who raises the sky so light can travel. The House of Shu, the Order's open study circle, takes its name from the same principle: study is how the sky is lifted.

As Grand Master of the House, he leads the weekly circle where seekers read Dr. Yosef Ben-Jochannan ("Dr. Ben"), sit with Ma'at, and prepare — when they are ready — to petition the Craft. Sessions are led by the Grand Master or by a Keeper of the House formed under his direction.

Through House of Shu Publications he authors the Order's Outer Court companions: original study guides built to be read beside the works they accompany — never in place of them. Each companion sets a method, a pace, and a standard; none is a reprint, and public study is not initiation.
